Still pretty good though.

Ah alrighty. I can appreciate a straightforward no BS answer. Thanks!
I'm Level 5 in Borderlands and level 11 in Borderlands 2. Pretty newb. I was hoping that it might be a step up and more fun.

yeah it’s a flat “No” but that’s more a statement of how good BL2 is than anything

Presequel’s low-grav and lasers are pretty fun, and IMO the storyline is at least as good as BL2. The base game is definitely at least worth picking up on a steam sale or something … although so far DLC is nowhere near as good as BL2’s.

and I still do BL2 some nights, weekends mostly … if you want some co-ops and see me in steam gimme a tug

well I might have to change my tune about the Presequel’s DLC … from the footage I was watching last night, that brand new Baroness Hammerlock character they released yesterday looks mighty mighty badass … like some kind of Siren–Assassin hybrid, with a top-heavy skill tree that gets awesome immediately, like a cryo-flavored riff on the very best of both Maya and Zero … and that’s just the first two trees, I guess the third is some crazy co-op flavor which I ain’t even begun to comprehend…

HMMM

goddamn them basterds might gonna maybe rope me on a season pass after all, piss-ass holodome and all

hmm...

really..?

That was one of the characters I was planing on playing. But after the last cluster f@ck of a DLC... I don't know.

inconceivable..?

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

well I trigger-pulled because:

(1) at least one character, the Baroness, clearly seems to be well done, very versatile, good for co-op

(2) maybe the Jack character is good too, I don’t know yet

(3) I figure there’s an solid chance the final “actual campaign” DLC will be at least substantial, and maybe even very good overall too … they’ve teased “over 5 GB” for whatever that’s worth

(4) for $17, at worst I can just write off the holodumb DLC’s “campaign”, and take the 10 levels and skill points across the board

anyway so far so good, only had time enough to dork around a few minutes earlier today up to level 4 …
